The COVID-19 pandemic has tested businesses executives and changed the way many of them now lead their organizations.
In the latest episode of “Lessons in Leadership,” NJBIA President & CEO Michele Siekerka tells host Steve Adubato, Ph.D., how her own leadership style has evolved since the pandemic and that she has resolved to be “noise-free in ’23.”
“I am by nature a problem-solver and a fixer. I’ve learned over the last three years to take control of the things that I can take control of and those things that I can’t fix I have to take a step back,” Siekerka said.
“I’m coming into 2023 noise-free in ’23,” Siekerka continued. “I need to cut through the noise so I can get back to being myopically focused on the things that I can control and move the needle on, and not let these distractions, this unnecessary noise, get me off my game.”
