Sailer, HR Education & Events manager for Primepoint HRMS & Payroll, will discuss employer and employee rights under the separate state laws that legalized medical marijuana and adult-use recreational marijuana, as well as best practices to keep workplaces safe for employees and customers. Sailer will also discuss workplace recognition experts, or WIREs, which the law requires employers to use before taking any action against an employee who fails a cannabis drug test.
