From this past weekend’s “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, Dr. Jerrold S. Gertzman and Dr. Michael C. Stabile of Capital Health Medical Group join host Bob Considine to discuss their virtual primary care program and how they’re proving telemedicine is here to stay.
“We had dipped our toe in the pool of telemedicine long ago, so we were well prepared when COVID hit. We were able to pivot pretty quickly and convert to telemedicine when people didn’t want to leave their homes, people were afraid to go to the doctor’s office,” Gertzman said. “But it really did a great service for us and for medicine because people and physicians and providers who were afraid or not convinced about the role of telemedicine, we all became believers.”
