NJBIA President & CEO Michele Siekerka will join a panel of experts speaking at NJ101.5’s Town Hall tonight about COVID-19 vaccine mandates and the legal options businesses and workers have as the federal government continues efforts to require vaccinations at private businesses.
The U.S. Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA) on Nov. 4 ordered businesses with 100 or more workers to require COVID-19 vaccinations by Jan. 4 and require unvaccinated employees to undergo weekly testing. Two days later, a federal court temporarily blocked the mandate, creating confusion among businesses and their workers on what happens next.
The town hall, moderated by NJ101.5’s Eric Scott, is intended to help business owners and employees trying to operate under ever-changing federal, state and local COVID-19 policies. In addition to Siekerka, the panel also includes attorney Peter Frattarelli, who chairs the Labor & Employment Practice Group at Archer Law; and attorney Dana Wefer, who is currently litigating cases concerning employer and school vaccinate mandates.
The town hall broadcast will air live from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight (Nov. 11) on NJ101.5 FM and will be simulcast on the NJ101.5 smartphone app and Facebook.
