On this past weekend’s episode of “Minding Your Business,” New Jersey’s legislative leaders discuss the Legislature’s approach to business following some surprising election results and Gov. Phil Murphy’s pledge to not raise taxes.
“I would hope that the pledge the governor made would be kept, because the state is taxed too much,” Senate President Steve Sweeney said during the panel discussion.
The panel was part of NJBIA’s recently held Public Policy Forum in Iselin. Sweeney was joined on the panel by Republican Senate Leader Tom Kean, Assembly Budget Chairwoman Eliana Pintor Marin and Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz.
NJBIA’s “Minding Your Business” is a weekly TV show that airs on News 12+ at 9:30 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday, and on 7:30 p.m on Saturday.
