Fulfill Food Bank recently announced the appointment of Kelly Lankau Watts as its new vice president of Development and External Relations. Suzanne Parchment, a human resources executive, has also joined the board of trustees at Fulfill.
Watts has worked in the non-profit sector for her entire career, mostly in New Jersey. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in nonprofit leadership, including development and communications.
“Kelly has a strong track record of success in organizational growth, fundraising, and building strategic partnerships. She has successfully led capital campaigns, annual campaigns, individual and major gift programs, and more,” said Triada Stampas, CEO and president, Fulfill.
“In addition, she has managed communications and external relations strategies for several organizations to share stories of impact and to build public awareness for those organizations,” Stampas said. “We look forward to her leading our Development and External Relations team at Fulfill so that we can continue to help our neighbors in need.”
Watts led the efforts to build the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial and Vietnam Era Education Center & Museum in Holmdel and served as its executive director for 17 years. She has also led development and communications efforts at Rutgers School of Environmental & Biological Sciences, Boys and Girls Clubs of Mercer County, and, most recently, New Brunswick Tomorrow. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
Parchment, formerly the talent management administrator and manager of programs at Fulfill, and the current senior director of Human Resources at The Arc of Monmouth, also joins Fulfill’s board of trustees as its newest member. Suzanne earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and her Master of Arts degree from Rutgers University. She has served as the program director of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Jersey Shore Chapter and is currently their Teen Advisor. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Monmouth County Alumni Chapter.
“We welcome Kelly and Suzanne to our leadership team at Fulfill,” said Lauren Holman, Fulfill’s board chair. “We are looking forward to having these experts in their respective fields make their mark at Fulfill as we continue our hard work to fight food insecurity at the Jersey Shore.
“I would also like express our sincere gratitude to Joseph Leone Introna for his hard work and dedication to Fulfill as he steps down from his role as a Trustee,” Holman added. “We appreciate all his efforts to help families and children in Monmouth and Ocean counties.”
