Promly ChangeMakers, a nonprofit tech organization launching a socially responsible ecosystem app for GenZ, has announced that its ChangeMakers Festival for youth mental health will be held on Sept. 9 at the Prudential Center in Newark.

The community event, sponsored by forward-thinking corporations and nonprofits that care about youth mental health, is being is being coordinated by Diversified Production Services (DPS), an industry leader in live entertainment events, including the Super Bowl halftime show. The festival will feature celebrities, musicians, actors, influencers, and global leaders.

Corporate sponsorships are available for the festival.

“We can no longer ignore the youth mental health crisis. It is here and it is having a huge impact on our kids and teens,” said Promly Founder and CEO Jennifer Libby. “Kids are looking for leaders to give them hope and empower them to see beyond the present to build a brighter future.

“The ChangeMakers Festival has pulled together both GenZ and adult ChangeMakers of many genres to meet kids where they want to be through music, performance, the GenZ ChangeMakers Awards, and a one-of-a-kind festival-like atmosphere, all while amplifying the reach of nonprofits, companies that care, and the many mental health resources that are reaching teens,” she said. “The ChangeMakers Festival is exactly what kids need right now.”

The event will start with an afternoon community festival outside of the Prudential Center with food trucks, an interactive art installation, student performances, DJ’s and rising musicians amidst a nonprofit village. In the evening, ticketholders will join together alongside influencers, celebrities, and musicians to be part of an impactful night to remember inside one of New Jersey’s premier concert venues with a livestream to high schools and colleges nationwide.

To date, Promly, Happy Jack, The Kennedy Forum, The Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide, NYU Langone, and Cetera Financial have already joined as sponsors.
