Businesses that now allow employees to work remotely, either on a part-time or full-time basis or as a COVID-19 workplace accommodation, need updated policies that are clear and in compliance with state and federal laws.

At the next online NJBIA Human Resources Council meeting at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 2, attorney Michael A. Shadiack, chair of the Employment Practice Group of Connell Foley LLP, will discuss what business owners need to know about complying with wage and hour laws, properly managing employee leaves of absence, and adapting to remote workplace policies.
