The number is staggering: More than 800,000 people have filed for unemployment as thousands of businesses have been forced to close or severely restrict their operations in a desperate effort to stop the spread of coronavirus in New Jersey.
But that’s not the full story. Each business is impacted differently, and NJBIA wants to know what you as an individual enterprise are facing.
Please take a moment to fill out the NJBIA Recovery Survey before our deadline of 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 28.
“Your input is invaluable as we continue to work with our policymakers on a recovery framework for New Jersey,” said NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka. “As NJBIA is continuing to advocate for policies that will protect employers during these unprecedented times, we need as much information and insight as we can get into how this health emergency is affecting you.”
The association will use this information to shed light on the challenge facing New Jersey’s business community and give lawmakers some idea of what it will take to get the state’s economy on the path to recovery. The results of the survey will help the association in its work with the Legislature and the Administration to help businesses survive the pandemic.
“We thank the many who have already taken a few minutes to complete this important survey,” Siekerka said. “We look forward to hearing from the rest of you before our deadline of 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28.”
