The New Jersey Business & Industry Association has produced and released a report documenting itPublic Policy Forum from last December as a continuing resource for the media, policymakers and participants and viewers from the event.

NJBIA’s Tying It All Together Report

The report, called Tying It All Together: Summaries, Thought Leader Ideas & Key Takeaways from NJBIA’s 2020 Public Policy Forum features a summary and links to video of each presentation and panel event. It can be found at www.njbia.org/PPF2020Report. 

The virtual event featured more than 40 exceptional speakers and moderators, including remarks from Gov. Phil Murphy and a legislative leaders panel discussion with Senate President Stephen Sweeney, Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin, Senate Republican Leader Thomas H. Kean Jr. and Assembly Republican Leader  Jon Bramnickmoderated by NJ Spotlight News business reporter Rhonda Schaffler. 

“All of the presentations from our 2020 Public Policy Forum generated tremendous discussions from our thought leaders and we felt it was important to have those conversations continue as we navigate this historic time,” said NJBIA Chief Government Affairs Officer Chrissy Buteas 

“We invite the media and all other interested parties to use this report as a resource throughout the year for the many topics covered during the Public Policy Forum.” 

Breakout panel sessions from NJBIA’s Public Policy Forum: “Bringing Business Back in Trying and Taxing Times” included informed discussions on the state budget, New Jersey and national politics, healthcare, workforce development, capital, innovation and infrastructure. 

The event also featured fireside chats with Rutgers President Jonathan Holloway and AT&T President Charlene Brown and Madeline Bell, chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, and Ralph Izzo, Chairman, President and CEO of PSEG.
