NJBIA and NEW JERSEY BUSINESS magazine are now accepting nominations for their annual Awards for Excellence competition, which recognizes outstanding businesses and their leaders who have improved New Jersey’s economic climate and quality of life.
Awards will be given for Executive of the Year, Outstanding Employer, Community Service and Excellence in Disability Inclusion. Winners will be chosen in these categories: small businesses (1-25 employees), medium businesses (26-100 employees) and large businesses (101 or more employees).
The award for Excellence in Disability Inclusion is a new award for 2021. It recognizes NJBIA member companies who are leaders in efforts to recruit, hire, retain, and advance the careers of qualified people with disabilities. NJBIA has been supporting efforts in the Legislature to promote and advance the inclusion of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the workplace.
Winners will be given prominent recognition in NEW JERSEY BUSINESS magazine, which is read by over 93,000 top executives across the state, and its daily e-zine, New Jersey Business Today. A news release announcing all Awards for Excellence winners will also be sent to media statewide.
Nominations and requested documentation must be received by 5 p.m., June 11, 2021. All nominees must be members in good standing of NJBIA to be considered. More information about the judging criteria for each award, as well as all contest rules, can be found on NJBIA’s website here.
