Business leader conceptRider University’s Center for the Development of Leadership Skills is seeking nominations for its Leadership Legacy Award to be presented to one local community member who has demonstrated excellence in leadership through service to others in both their professional and personal endeavors.

Nominations will be accepted through Oct. 18 and can be submitted online here.  Rider University’s Center for the Development of Leadership Skills will then contact the nominated candidates and encourage them to apply for the award.

“We are seeking nominations of individuals who can demonstrate impactful leadership contributions focused on service to others and society,” said Laura Seplaki, associate director of Rider’s Center for the Development of Leadership Skills and director of the Leadership Development Program. “Individuals should value team leadership and inclusiveness above individual leadership, and have mentored and prepared future leaders for the next generation.”

Candidates who are nominated for the award must submit their applications by Nov. 1. Top candidates for the award will be chosen to participate in a 30-minute interview with the selection committee in mid-November. Based upon the interview and the overall application, an award recipient will be chosen and the award will be presented at NJBIA’s Public Policy Forum on Dec. 6.

Questions about the award or application process can be directed to cdls@rider.edu.
