An online portal for New Jersey residents to register for a coronavirus vaccine went live this week. The link can be found here.
Currently, the state is only vaccinating healthcare workers and nursing home residents and staff, classified as 1a. But the website allows people who are not currently eligible to pre-register.
Phase 1b includes essential workers such as police, fire and other first responders, food service workers, educators, support staff and daycare workers, public transit workers and workers who support radio, print, internet and television news and media services.
NJBIA’s inaugural Human Resource Council meeting will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 11:30 a.m., with Doug Diaz, Esq. of Archer Law discussing the proper way to mandate a vaccine in your employee handbook and Dr. Margaret Fisher, special advisor to the state health commissioner, providing a COVID-19 vaccine briefing.
